Office Sathi Pvt. Ltd. ("Office Sathi", "we", "us") operates the Office Sathi platform. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you use our website and services. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. What we collect

  • Identity data: name, phone, email, profile photo.
  • KYC data: government-issued ID documents and verification status.
  • Transaction data: bookings, payments, payouts and invoices.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser info.
  • Communications: support tickets, enquiries and chat messages.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide, maintain and improve the Platform.
  • To verify your identity (KYC) and prevent fraud.
  • To process bookings, payments and owner payouts.
  • To send transactional notifications (booking, payment, support).
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations in India.

4. Sharing your data

We share data only with: (a) payment processors and KYC partners, (b) the counterparty in a booking (e.g. tenant ↔ owner) to facilitate the transaction, (c) authorities when required by law, and (d) service providers bound by confidentiality obligations.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Row-Level Security to ensure users can only access data they are authorised to see. Despite our best efforts, no system is fully immune to risk.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access, correct, update and request deletion of your personal data, and to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@officesathi.in.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and platform functionality, and minimal analytics cookies to understand usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Platform may not work correctly.

8. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services and to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
